Websites need to follow new Page Rank changes
In July Google changed the way its spiders crawl and its view of many aspects of search engine optimisation(SEO). If you noticed a drop in your page rank, these could be some of the causes:
1. Check how easy it is to navigate around your site - you should be able to find all pages from one link. Maintain your sitemap: it is easy to forget when you add or update webpages.
2. Ensure you have a Google sitemap and keep it up to date.
3. Your site needs a continuous link exchange campaign with quality sites. No-cost ways to do this include writing articles for directories or sundication, exchanging RSS feeds and submitting your pages to directories.
4. Beware of tricks and deceptive practices. Free for all link exchanges and other scams will do you no good. Do not use cloaked or hidden links. Do not stuff pages with keywords, and avoid linking with sites that use this practice: their practices could adversely affect your ranking.
